Who we are

Mehar Accounting Services is a trading name of Misha Bedi, ABN 85 321 088 008, a registered tax agent and BAS agent. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect the information necessary to provide accounting, taxation and advisory services — including your name, contact details, tax file number, financial records, and information about your business and its transactions.

Tax File Numbers

Tax File Numbers are handled in accordance with the Privacy (Tax File Number) Rule 2015. We collect TFNs only where authorised by law, use them only for permitted purposes, and never require them to be submitted through our website contact form.

How we use it

To prepare and lodge returns and statements, provide advice, meet our obligations as a registered tax agent, and communicate with you. We do not sell your information.

Disclosure

We may disclose information to the Australian Taxation Office, ASIC and other regulators as required; to our software providers who store data on our behalf; and to third parties you have authorised, such as your bank or a nominated auditor.

Storage and security

Records are held in secure cloud systems with access controls. We retain records for the periods required by taxation law and professional obligations.

Cookies and website analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We may collect aggregate, non-identifying statistics about how the site is used in order to improve it.
