Terms of Engagement

Last updated 26 July 2026. These terms summarise how we work. Your engagement letter is the operative agreement and prevails over anything on this page.

Scope of services

The services we provide are set out in your engagement letter. Work outside that scope is not included and will be separately quoted and agreed before it is undertaken.

Fees

Fees are fixed and confirmed in writing before work commences. Fees change only where the scope of work changes and you have agreed to that change. All fees exclude GST unless stated otherwise.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. We rely on that information and do not audit or independently verify it unless specifically engaged to do so. You remain responsible for maintaining proper records as required by law.

Our responsibilities

We will exercise reasonable professional care and skill, comply with our obligations under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and the Code of Professional Conduct, and keep your information confidential except where disclosure is required or authorised by law.

Lodgement deadlines

We will advise you of applicable deadlines. Timely lodgement depends on receiving your information with sufficient time to complete the work — we will tell you what that cut-off is.

General advice warning

Information published on this website is general in nature and does not take account of your objectives, financial situation or needs. Obtain advice specific to your circumstances before acting.

Registration

Misha Bedi is registered with the Tax Practitioners Board as a tax agent (26323184) and as a BAS agent (24754311). Both registrations can be verified on the public register at tpb.gov.au.

Confidentiality and privacy

Information you give us is kept confidential and handled in accordance with our privacy policy, except where disclosure is required or authorised by law.

Termination

Either party may end the engagement by written notice. Fees for work completed to that point remain payable, and we will provide your records on request.
